The community card platform

Sell out your card. Get paid on the spot.

9x12 Tools runs the whole business behind a community postcard — the campaign site, the card, the mail routes, and a real checkout that moves an advertiser’s money into your bank the moment they claim a spot.

No credit card  ·  Free to build and publish  ·  From $97/mo when you turn on checkout

Founding Operator — 25 of 25 seats left at $97/mo, locked while you stay

Built by Dustin Myers, who has been printing, selling and mailing 9×12 community cards for years — not by a software company guessing at your business.

The part nobody built

A payment link is not a checkout.

Every tool in this space will give you a website. Then it hands the actual business — collecting money from local advertisers — back to you and a spreadsheet.

The price on the card drifts from the price on the link

You paste a Stripe or Square URL into each slot by hand. You raise a spot from $500 to $600 on the card and forget the link. Nobody catches it until somebody pays the wrong amount.

Two businesses buy the same spot

A sale lands in your email. You mark it SOLD by hand — when you get to it. In between, someone else pays for the same square, and you spend the evening issuing a refund and an apology.

Every month you re-sell the same advertiser

Payment links can't hold a card on file. So “$500 a month” doesn't really exist — it's you, texting eleven business owners, eleven times a year, forever.

None of that is a website problem. It’s an operations problem — and it is the entire reason this platform exists.

From zero to sold

Three moves, and the card starts selling itself.

STEP 01

Build the card

Drag spots onto any of five formats — 6×11, 6.5×12, 9×12 landscape or vertical, 8.5×11. Front and back. Give each spot a price and sell it with one verified payment. Fixed recurring commitments are coming soon; the launch workflow stays focused on getting a single drop right. Your card is your price sheet.

STEP 02

Choose who gets it

Real USPS EDDM routes on a map, with household counts and demographics per route. Pick your routes, watch the cost per door update as you go, and take the finished USPS paperwork with you to the post office.

3 ROUTES · 4,182 HOMES · $0.221/DOOR

STEP 03

Send one link

Your campaign site is live on your own domain — server-rendered, so Google reads it properly instead of a blank page. An advertiser taps the spot they want, pays on their phone in under two minutes, and the square flips to Sold without you touching anything.

The money

The only platform in this niche that actually collects.

Not a link you paste. A checkout that belongs to your campaign, wired to your own Stripe account, that knows what a spot costs and what happens after it sells.

Advertisers pay on your site, on their phone

Tap a spot, enter a card, done — under two minutes, no account to create, no redirect to a stranger's payment page. They get a receipt with your name on it.

Recurring drops are coming soon

Launch with one-time spot sales today. Fixed monthly commitments are being held for a focused beta until the single-drop checkout, fulfillment, and refund path has proven itself with real operators.

Sold means sold

The spot locks the second the payment clears — no double sales, no midnight refund. Take an offline check instead? Mark it sold yourself; the card shows the difference. A refund reopens the square automatically.

We take 0% of your ad revenue

Every dollar an advertiser pays goes to your Stripe account. Stripe's standard processing rate is the only fee in the chain — we don't add anything on top, no matter how much you sell.

One login

The rest of the business, in the same place.

You should not be paying four subscriptions and holding the whole operation together with a spreadsheet and your memory.

A card builder for five formats

6×11, 6.5×12, 9×12 landscape and vertical, 8.5×11. Front and back, bleed and safe zones handled, each advertiser's finished artwork dropped into their square.

Real EDDM route targeting

Live USPS carrier routes with household counts, income and age. Auto-select to a budget, see cost per door, and print the USPS paperwork.

A site that Google can actually read

Pages render on the server with your own domain, proper metadata and local-business markup — so businesses searching for direct mail in your town can find you.

Advertisers serve themselves

Receipts, artwork upload, and a private link where they update a card or cancel — without going through you on a Sunday night.

Every city you run, side by side

One card or nine. Each campaign keeps its own routes, mail date, spots and money — and you see all of them from one screen. No per-city fee on any plan.

Built to run from a truck

Every screen — dashboard, card builder, route map — is designed at phone width first, because that is where you actually sell.

The math

The platform costs less than one spot on one card.

Across 76 live operator sites in 81 markets, the median community card spot sells for $477 a mailing. Sell 8 of them and one card grosses more than 3 thousand dollars.

You are not deciding whether to spend $97. You are deciding whether the next card sells out four squares faster because an advertiser could pay the moment they said yes.

Median spot, one mailing$477
8 spots on one card$3,816
9x12 Tools, one month$97

2.5% of one card’s ad revenue. Median spot price from our own survey of 76 live operator sites across 81 markets. Your prices are yours to set.

Who built this

Built by someone who has actually sold the spots.

I’m Dustin Myers. I have been running 9×12 community card campaigns — designing the cards, walking into the businesses, standing in line at the post office, and chasing the invoices afterwards.

Every screen in this platform exists because something in my own campaigns was broken. I am not selling you a website builder. I am selling you the part of this business that nobody wants to do by hand.

Straight answers

Before you ask.

Still not covered? Write to hello@9x12tools.com and you will get a reply from a person who runs these campaigns.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You answer a handful of questions about your city, your card and your prices, and the site is built for you. There is nothing to install, host or update. If you can fill out a form on your phone you can run a campaign.

What does it cost my advertisers?

Nothing beyond the price you set. Payments run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rate, and we take zero percent on top. The money is yours before it is ever ours.

What if an advertiser wants to pay me by check?

Mark the spot sold yourself. It shows as sold on the card and in your ledger, tagged as a direct sale so you can always tell the two apart. Nothing forces a payment through the platform.

Can I run more than one city?

Yes. Each campaign keeps its own routes, mail date, card and money, and they all report into one dashboard. How many can be selling at once is the only thing your plan decides — and there is never a per-city fee.

Whose customers are these — mine or yours?

Yours. Your domain, your Stripe account, your advertiser list, exportable whenever you want. We are the tooling underneath your business, not a middleman standing in it.

I already have a site somewhere else. Can I move?

Yes, and you keep your domain — you point it at your new campaign site and it carries on working, so nothing you have printed or handed out goes dead.

Your next card

Build the whole thing tonight. Decide about a plan when someone tries to pay you.

Nothing to install, no card to enter, and a finished campaign site to look at before you spend a dollar.
